Otoki Corp. Establishes Japan Branch as Part of Global Expansion

Tokyo: Otoki Corp., a major South Korean food company, announced the establishment of a new branch in Tokyo. This development is part of the company's ongoing effort to expand its global presence, with operations expected to commence in September.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Japan branch will mark Otoki's fourth overseas operation, following successful expansions into New Zealand, the United States, and Vietnam. Otoki, formerly known as Ottogi, is renowned for its Jin Ramen brand. In Japan, the company plans to focus on "ramyeon" products, Korean sauces, and sesame oil, with the intention of gradually expanding its product lineup to cater to local consumer preferences.

The establishment of the Tokyo branch aligns with Otoki's strategic goal to boost its overseas sales to 1.1 trillion won (approximately US$750 million) by 2030.
