KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with Significant Drops and Gains

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed performance, with several companies experiencing significant price fluctuations. ORION Holdings saw its stock price drop by 200, closing at 24,850. Similarly, Hyundai M and F INS decreased by 150, ending at 34,400. ASIA HOLDINGS recorded one of the largest declines, falling by 16,900 to close at 185,100.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SBHC was among the few companies that experienced an increase, with its stock rising by 200 to 53,700. CJ saw a substantial gain of 21,300, closing at 183,000. KCC also reported an upswing, with its stock price increasing by 4,000 to 554,000.

HyundaiMtr showed a positive movement, as its stock price rose by 27,000, reaching 750,000. On the other hand, SKBP experienced a decline, dropping by 600 to 89,100. AMOREPACIFIC Holdings fell by 500, closing at 22,400, while MiwonComcl saw a decrease of 4,500, ending at 116,000.

SeAH Steel Holdings experienced a decline of 4,300, closing at 148,900. Daewoong's stock price dropped by 580 to 18,260, and SamyangFood saw a decrease of 39,000, ending at 1,166,000. POSCO INTERNATIONAL fell by 2,200, closing at 61,600, while CJ CheilJedang reported a gain of 1,500, ending at 203,500.

TaekwangInd experienced a decline of 20,000, closing at 949,000. KAL's stock price dropped by 1,000 to 25,800. POSCO FUTURE M and POSCO Holdings also saw declines, with their stock prices dropping by 14,500 and 10,500, respectively.

Despite the overall mixed results, some companies reported gains. ISUPETASYS experienced a significant increase of 10,200, closing at 139,400. Shinsegae's stock price rose by 1,000, ending at 516,000, and NHIS saw a gain of 1,000, closing at 31,200. LS also reported a noticeable increase, with its stock price rising by 20,000 to 466,000.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 index reflected varied movements across different sectors, highlighting the volatile nature of the stock market on this occasion.
