Seoul: The latest KOSPI 200 closing prices display a varied performance across different sectors. Key financial and pharmaceutical stocks experienced fluctuations, with both upward and downward trends recorded.
According to Yonhap News Agency, notable movements in the financial sector included Kakao, which rose by 1,150 to close at 39,300, and WooriFinancialGroup, which increased by 350, ending the day at 30,150. Conversely, HanaFinancialGR saw a decline of 3,100, closing at 114,800, while ShinhanGroup fell by 1,300 to finish at 96,900.
In the pharmaceutical sector, HANALL BIOPHARMA experienced a rise of 2,900, closing at 53,000, and MIWON SC increased by 6,600, reaching 104,900 by the end of the trading session. On the other hand, HanmiPharm saw a slight decrease of 500, ending at 411,000, and DAEWOONG PHARM closed at 120,300 after a drop of 600.
The electronics sector showed positive trends, with LGELECTRONICS increasing by 2,000 to close at 226,000, while HYUNDAIGLOVIS rose by 600, ending the day at 195,800. Meanwhile, NAVER experienced a decline, falling by 3,000 to close at 224,000.
Other significant movements included SamsungF and MIns, which saw a substantial rise of 47,000, closing at 663,000. In contrast, Hanwha Ocean faced a decline, dropping by 5,700 to finish at 104,500.
