Berlin: South Korea's science ministry announced that local companies will participate in a significant tech, artificial intelligence (AI), and startup event starting this week in Berlin, Germany.
According to Yonhap News Agency, a booth dedicated to showcasing South Korean companies in the blockchain sector will be set up at the "GITEX AI Europe 2026," which is scheduled to take place over two days starting Tuesday. The aim is to introduce various blockchain technologies and services adaptable for the European market.
The science ministry, in collaboration with the Korea Internet and Security Agency (KISA), has selected 23 Korean companies for the event. These companies will have the opportunity to exhibit their blockchain innovations and explore potential collaborations in Europe.
Furthermore, the Korea Trade Promotion Agency has organized a networking event in conjunction with AsiaBerlin, a platform that connects startup ecosystems across Asia and Berlin. This initiative is expected to foster new partnerships and business opportunities for the participating South Korean firms.
