Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a day of mixed performances as several companies' stock prices fluctuated. Notable movements included significant drops for HanmiPharm and Samsung Biologics, while Meritz Financial and HD Hyundai Electric experienced gains.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HanmiPharm saw a substantial decline with its stock falling by 30,500, closing at 397,500. Samsung Biologics also faced a notable decrease, with a drop of 57,000, closing at 1,391,000. On the other hand, Meritz Financial reported an increase of 1,500, bringing its stock price to 105,600, and HD Hyundai Electric rose by 35,000, closing at 972,000.
Other companies such as CSWIND and emart recorded decreases of 550 and 1,900, respectively, while BNK Financial Group and iM Financial Group saw upward trends, with increases of 120 and 340, respectively. Additionally, KRAFTON experienced a significant rise, climbing 12,500 to close at 236,000.
The day concluded with varied performances across the index, reflecting a diverse range of market influences impacting the stock prices of key companies within the KOSPI 200.
