KOSPI 200 Closing Prices Reflect Significant Market Movements

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a varied performance with notable shifts in stock prices. Among the companies witnessing a decline, Hanwha Aerospace experienced a significant drop of 80,000, closing at 899,000. In contrast, Amorepacific saw a substantial rise, gaining 5,500 to close at 123,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, KEPCO KPS fell by 550, closing at 46,550, while KEPCO EandC dropped by 2,000, closing at 97,100. On the positive side, ShinhanGroup increased by 600, finishing at 105,000, and LG CNS rose by 2,500 to close at 67,000. WooriFinancialGroup also saw a rise of 2,250, ending at 33,100.

SANIL ELECTRIC and LandF faced declines, with SANIL ELECTRIC dropping 4,400 to 166,400 and LandF seeing a decrease of 400, closing at 81,500. HYUNDAIGLOVIS and HANAFINANCIALGR also reported losses, with their prices dropping by 2,500 and 1,800, closing at 204,500 and 130,600, respectively.

On the upside, LGELECTRONICS increased by 3,100, closing at 172,300. LOTTE SHOPPING and COWAY showed gains, rising by 3,300 and 500, closing at 129,200 and 92,300, respectively. POSCO DX and Paradise also recorded increases, closing at 19,540 and 10,330 after rising by 330 and 300.

In other movements, LG Innotek declined by 11,000, ending at 614,000, while S-Oil saw a decrease of 14,800, closing at 136,400. HMM and Hanwha faced reductions, dropping by 1,000 and 2,200, closing at 20,650 and 93,800, respectively.

The market also saw mixed results with Hyundai Elevator increasing by 1,500 to 71,000, and KEPCO rising by 800, ending at 36,200. Conversely, SKTelecom and Samsung Life faced declines, closing at 97,900 and 311,500 after dropping by 2,100 and 6,500, respectively.
