Seoul: FandF Co. announced a 16.5 percent increase in its second-quarter net profit, reaching 73 billion won (US$51.1 million) compared to the same period last year. The company revealed these financial results in a recent regulatory filing.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the fashion and beauty retailer also reported that its operating profit for the April-June period rose by 2.9 percent to 86.5 billion won. Additionally, FandF's revenue saw a growth of 5.5 percent, totaling 399.6 billion won. Despite these gains, the operating profit was 13.2 percent lower than the average estimate from a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm associated with Yonhap News Agency. The survey did not provide an estimate for the net profit.
