S. Korea’s Monthly Exports Surge 62.8% in July Due to Strong Chip Shipments

Seoul: South Korea's monthly exports increased by nearly 63 percent in July compared to the same period last year, driven by robust chip shipments, as indicated by recent data.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources reported that outbound shipments reached US$98.89 billion in July. Furthermore, imports experienced a 26.5 percent year-on-year increase to $68.56 billion, leading to a trade surplus of $30.32 billion.
