Seoul: Korea Zinc Inc. reported its second-quarter net income of 351.5 billion won (US$246.7 million), marking a 6.6 percent increase from the previous year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company, known for its production of metals and involvement in renewable-related businesses, announced in a regulatory filing that it achieved an operating profit of 587.1 billion won for the quarter. This represents a significant rise compared to the 258.9 billion won recorded a year ago. Additionally, the company's revenue saw a substantial increase of 66.6 percent, reaching 6.37 trillion won.
