Seoul: In Monday's trading on the Korea Stock Exchange, the KOSPI 200 index revealed a mix of gains and losses among its constituent stocks. Samsung F and M Insurance closed at 630,000 KRW, marking a decrease of 15,000 KRW from its previous closing price. Meanwhile, Hanall Biopharma experienced a notable rise, closing at 56,900 KRW, up by 2,800 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Kogas saw a slight decline, ending the day at 35,700 KRW, down by 50 KRW. In contrast, DB HiTek reported a significant increase, closing at 91,900 KRW, an upswing of 7,800 KRW. Hanwha and CJ both remained unchanged, closing at 83,800 KRW and 145,700 KRW, respectively.
Samsung C and T experienced a minor drop, closing at 336,000 KRW, down by 500 KRW, while Orion Holdings saw a modest gain, ending at 27,950 KRW, up by 200 KRW. Sanil Electric recorded an impressive increase, closing at 183,800 KRW, with a rise of 26,500 KRW.
The trading session also saw Youngpoong closing at 40,150 KRW, up by 2,400 KRW. Daesang, on the other hand, experienced a slight decline, closing at 18,370 KRW, down by 180 KRW. Asia Holdings closed at 197,000 KRW, marking an increase of 3,800 KRW, whereas Misto Holdings ended at 44,800 KRW, down by 1,800 KRW.
Amorepacific Holdings experienced a decrease, closing at 26,450 KRW, down by 800 KRW. Hyundai Motor saw a significant rise, ending the day at 408,000 KRW, up by 12,500 KRW. Miwon Commercial closed at 123,200 KRW, down by 1,200 KRW, while KCC saw a slight decline, ending at 441,000 KRW, down by 1,000 KRW.
SKBP closed at 88,700 KRW, up by 3,300 KRW, whereas SeAH Steel Holdings saw a small decrease, closing at 114,100 KRW, down by 400 KRW. Lotte Fine Chemical ended the day at 48,700 KRW, up by 150 KRW, and OCI Holdings closed at 284,500 KRW, marking an increase of 12,000 KRW.
Shinsegae also saw a rise, closing at 432,000 KRW, up by 12,000 KRW. LandF ended the session at 101,000 KRW, with an increase of 10,800 KRW. Nongshim experienced a decrease, closing at 397,000 KRW, down by 8,000 KRW, while Hyundai Steel saw a slight rise, ending at 28,900 KRW, up by 600 KRW.
Hankook and Company closed at 25,950 KRW, up by 100 KRW, and Kia Corporation ended the day at 135,500 KRW, up by 600 KRW. Lotte closed at 24,050 KRW, with an increase of 350 KRW, while Lotte Chilsung saw a minor decrease, ending at 102,400 KRW, down by 200 KRW.
Daewoong closed at 18,120 KRW, marking an increase of 180 KRW. KAL saw a decrease, ending at 26,850 KRW, down by 300 KRW, and LG Corporation closed at 107,600 KRW, down by 500 KRW. Samyang Food experienced a notable drop, closing at 1,288,000 KRW, down by 18,000 KRW.
POSCO International ended the session at 56,700 KRW, down by 1,300 KRW, while CJ CheilJedang saw a small rise, closing at 205,500 KRW, up by 1,000 KRW. Taekwang Industrial experienced a significant increase, ending at 944,000 KRW, up by 25,000 KRW.
