Seoul: K-pop idol group BIGBANG has been appointed as the inaugural honorary ambassador for the national space agency, the group's agency said Friday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, BIGBANG will serve as the public face of the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA), and convey its future vision and key policies in a friendly manner, as stated by YG Entertainment. This appointment marks the first time KASA has selected an honorary ambassador since its establishment in 2024.
The group is also set to release a digital single titled "BiiiG" next week and plans to launch a new world tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its debut.
