Seoul: Admissions for the latest Spider-Man film and Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" were each nearing the 10 million mark in South Korea, data showed Sunday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," the fourth installment starring Tom Holland, surpassed the 8 million mark just 26 days after its release, as reported by its local distributor, Sony Pictures.
"The Odyssey" is closely following the latest Spider-Man film, with its admissions topping 7 million on Sunday, the distributor Universal Pictures confirmed.
As of 2 p.m., "The Odyssey" was the No. 1 most reserved film in South Korea, boasting a reservation rate of 71.5 percent, which far outpaced the 9.2 percent reservation rate of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."
