Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) showed a slight increase across most terms as reported at 11:00 a.m. by Yonhap Infomax. The rates for the 1-week term remained constant at 3.00%. However, the 1-month rate saw a minor increase to 3.06% from the previous session's 3.04%.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 2-month rate rose slightly to 3.12% compared to 3.11% in the prior session. The 3-month rate also experienced an increase, moving from 3.18% to 3.20%. Longer-term rates followed a similar trend, with the 6-month rate rising from 3.44% to 3.46%. The 12-month rate also edged up to 3.75% from 3.74%.
These adjustments in KORIBOR rates reflect minor fluctuations in the interbank lending environment. Financial analysts and institutions closely monitor these rates as they impact borrowing costs and financial market dynamics in the region.
