Seoul: South Korean bond yields saw an increase on the morning of September 1, 2026. The yields on various government and corporate bonds showed noticeable changes, with the 10-year Treasury Bond experiencing the most significant rise.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year Treasury Bond yield increased by 1.8 basis points to 3.459% from the previous session's 3.441%. The 2-year Treasury Bond yield rose by 3.2 basis points, reaching 3.728%, compared to 3.696% in the previous session. The 3-year Treasury Bond yield showed an increase of 4.5 basis points, moving to 3.883% from 3.838%.
The 10-year Treasury Bond yield, which is closely watched by investors, climbed by 6.5 basis points to 4.378%, up from the previous 4.313%. In the corporate bond segment, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond yield rose by 3.7 basis points to 3.788%, compared to 3.751% in the previous session. Furthermore, the 3-year Corporate Bond with an AA- rating saw an increase of 3.8 basis points, reaching a yield of 4.554% from the previous 4.516%.
