S. Korean Bond Yields Experience Notable Increases Across Maturities

Seoul: South Korean bond yields showed notable increases on the morning of September 2, 2026, with multiple treasury bonds and corporate bonds experiencing upward trends. The 1-year Treasury Bond yield increased by 1.6 basis points, reaching 3.474%, while the 2-year Treasury Bond saw a rise of 2.8 basis points, settling at 3.749%. The 3-year Treasury Bond increased by 3.6 basis points, reaching 3.914%, and the 10-year Treasury Bond climbed 3.7 basis points to 4.408%.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond increased by 3.6 basis points, reaching a yield of 3.814%. Additionally, the 3-year Corporate Bond (AA-) saw a rise of 4.0 basis points, with yields reaching 4.589%. These movements are indicative of the current market trends affecting the South Korean bond market and the broader economic conditions influencing investor decisions.
