Seoul: The KOSPI 200 saw a significant downturn in its closing prices, with numerous companies experiencing declines. Notable among them, HD Hyundai Electric witnessed a substantial drop, closing at 711,000, a decrease of 58,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HanmiPharm also faced a sharp decline, with its price falling by 18,000 to close at 474,000. Meanwhile, HyundaiAutoever's shares fell by 20,500, ending the day at 385,500. Hanwha Systems and Poongsan both experienced decreases of 3,700, closing at 66,900 and 77,200, respectively.
Other significant declines were seen with ISU Specialty Chemical, which dropped by 5,300 to close at 64,300. d'Alba Global's shares fell by 5,500, with a closing price of 202,000. KCC and APR also saw notable decreases, closing at 479,500 and 419,000, with drops of 14,000 and 13,500, respectively.
Smaller declines were observed across various companies, including KBFinancialGroup, KOLON IND, and CSWIND, which all saw their prices decrease by over 1,000. In contrast, Orion Holdings was one of the few to report an increase, rising by 50 to close at 25,550.
