Busan: Ticket sales for the highly anticipated annual Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) are set to begin this September, with the full schedule for movie screenings expected to be released later this week, organizers announced on Wednesday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as special events such as outdoor and overnight screenings and interactive sessions with invited actors, will be available for purchase starting at 2 p.m. on September 17. For all other film screenings, ticket sales will commence at 2 p.m. on September 21, with the comprehensive schedule being disclosed at 5 p.m. the following Friday.
All ticket sales will be conducted through BIFF's official website, with exceptions made for remaining and cancelled tickets. Additionally, a limited number of tickets will be reserved for senior citizens aged 65 and older, as well as for individuals with disabilities.
The 31st edition of BIFF, recognized as South Korea's largest film festival, is scheduled to take place from October 6-15 in the southeastern city of Busan.
