Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a varied performance with notable fluctuations in stock prices across various sectors. Among the stocks listed, emart, HD Hyundai, and DL EandC were among the few that recorded an uptick in their share values, while several others, including Samsung Biologics and HyundaiAutoever, experienced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HL MANDO experienced a decrease of 1,600, closing at 48,600. BNK Financial Group's shares dropped by 210, ending at 15,590. Samsung Biologics, a major player in the biotechnology sector, saw a significant decrease of 26,000, closing at 1,440,000. iM Financial Group also faced a downturn, with shares falling by 210 to close at 18,440.
Other notable declines included Doosan Bobcat, which fell by 1,000 to 62,700, and HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY, which saw a decrease of 1,200 to 64,200. KRAFTON's shares dropped by 4,500 to settle at 213,500, while SD Biosensor recorded a modest decrease of 30, closing at 6,140.
COSMAX experienced a substantial decline, dropping 9,000 to 265,000. Meritz Financial's shares decreased by 2,900, closing at 130,800. In contrast, HD Hyundai saw an increase of 3,000, closing at 246,500, and HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC fell by 35,000 to 728,000.
MIWON SC recorded a slight increase, ending at 133,200 with a rise of 100. APR saw a significant downturn, dropping 7,000 to 377,000. Orion's shares fell by 1,900, closing at 121,100.
Chongkundang experienced a decrease of 600, ending at 67,800, while HD CE dropped by 1,400 to 138,600. DoubleUGames and Hanwha Systems also saw declines, with decreases of 200 and 900 respectively.
Netmarble's shares decreased by 950, closing at 35,350, and kakaopay saw a drop of 250, ending at 46,500. KakaoBank's shares fell by 150, closing at 21,900. HYOSUNG TNC faced a significant decline of 13,500, ending at 334,500.
SKBS and HANILCMT also recorded decreases, with their shares dropping by 850 and 110 respectively. DL EandC, however, saw an increase of 600, closing at 78,600.
SKCHEM's shares fell by 1,000, ending at 53,800, and SK ie technology dropped by 140, closing at 16,250. SKSQUARE experienced an increase of 6,000, closing at 1,131,000.
HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED's shares decreased by 1,200, closing at 170,800, while BGF Retail fell by 1,600 to 148,600. HyundaiAutoever faced a significant decline of 16,500, ending at 385,500.
HYBE saw an uptick, with shares increasing by 600 to 181,400. Doosan Robotics experienced a decline of 1,100, closing at 69,300. ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL and d'Alba Global also saw decreases, with their shares falling by 1,500 and 3,900 respectively.
Finally, HDHMS recorded an increase of 500, ending at 212,500, while ECOPRO MAT saw a decrease of 550, closing at 35,950.
