Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) as released by Yonhap Infomax, a branch of Yonhap News Agency, showed minimal changes in short-term loan rates as of 11:00 a.m. today. The data revealed that while most rates remained steady, there was a slight increase in the rates for longer-term loans.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 1-month rates remained unchanged at 3.00% and 3.10%, respectively. Similarly, the 2-month rate was stable at 3.19%. However, a marginal rise was observed in the 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month rates. The 3-month rate increased from 3.29% to 3.30%, the 6-month rate moved up from 3.59% to 3.61%, and the 12-month rate saw a slight increase from 3.90% to 3.93%.
These figures reflect the current lending environment in Korea's interbank market, where short-term loans are maintaining stability, while longer-term loans are seeing slight adjustments. The KORIBOR rates serve as a benchmark for various financial products, and these minor changes may impact financial strategies for businesses and consumers in the region.
