Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index experienced notable declines across numerous companies in its latest trading session. Among the companies that saw a decrease in their stock prices, LIG Defense and Aerospace experienced the largest drop, falling by 49,000 to close at 548,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant declines included LGCHEM, which fell by 23,000 to 252,500, and HANMISemi, decreasing by 12,100 to a closing price of 199,900. SAMSUNG C and T also saw a notable decrease of 10,000, closing at 275,000.
Additional companies affected by price drops included HYUNDAIDEPTST, which fell by 6,900 to a closing price of 78,400, and KIH, which experienced a decrease of 6,700 to end at 150,500. On the other hand, a few companies saw modest increases, such as DONGSUH, which rose by 550 to reach 28,350, and Woori Financial Group, which went up by 150 to close at 31,800.
The overall trend of the session was dominated by declines, impacting various sectors in the KOSPI 200 index.
