Seoul:President Lee Jae Myung met with former National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik on Monday to discuss issues related to state administration, as confirmed by a presidential spokesperson.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the meeting took place at Cheong Wa Dae, where Lee invited Woo for lunch to acknowledge his service as the parliamentary chief. Woo held the position from mid-2024 to mid-2026.
During their discussion, both Lee and Woo extensively exchanged views on state administration matters. Notably, President Lee emphasized the significance of national unity, a sentiment that Woo agreed with, as reported by presidential spokesperson Kang Yu-jung.
