Seoul: K-pop boy group Riize will return Monday with its second EP, "II," its agency, SM Entertainment, said. The six-track release is led by the lead single "Do Your Dance," alongside "Soar," "D-d-done," "Overdrive," "Like a Bomb," and "In a Loop."
According to Yonhap News Agency, member Anton expressed that this release marks the beginning of their activities in Korea for the year. He noted that while their previous work focused on personal growth and the challenges faced while pursuing their dreams, the new album emphasizes action. "You'll be able to see Riize moving forward through action rather than worrying," he stated, highlighting that the group's journey to greater heights has just begun.
"Do Your Dance" is characterized as an uptempo dance track that blends hip-hop beats with electronic pop elements, featuring a prominent distorted 808 bass and a repetitive chorus. The group emphasized that the song captures their free-spirited energy and self-assurance. Eunseok described the track as ideal for moments when one needs a confidence boost or simply wants to have fun and forget worries.
Anton also highlighted the lyric "Like a pro," which signifies overcoming challenges with enjoyment. He shared that preparing for the comeback was a learning experience that boosted his confidence, and he hopes listeners will resonate with this sentiment.
Riize, a six-member group, made their debut in 2023 with "Get a Guitar" and quickly gained popularity with songs like "Love 119," "Boom Boom Bass," and "Fly Up." The group released its first full-length album, "Odyssey," last year and embarked on its inaugural concert tour.
