SEOUL - Suga, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS, was detained for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol on an electric scooter. The incident occurred in the Hannam neighborhood of Seoul's Yongsan district.
According to Yonhap News Agency. Following the incident, a nearby police officer assisted Suga and detected alcohol, leading to his transfer to the police station. Subsequent tests showed his blood alcohol concentration was high enough to potentially result in the cancellation of his driving license. Despite the charges, Suga was allowed to return home following the police investigation. He has been serving as a social service agent since March, with his service set to conclude in June next year.
