Seoul:Two college applicants were caught cheating by using prohibited artificial intelligence (AI) glasses during entrance exams at separate schools in Seoul.
According to Yonhap News Agency, one incident took place at Yonsei University, where a student initially wore regular glasses before switching to AI glasses during the mathematics essay exam. The proctors noticed the change and reported the student, who admitted to using the AI glasses. Yonsei University is currently considering disciplinary action against this examinee.
A similar case was reported at the University of Seoul, where an applicant swapped regular glasses for smart glasses after the ID check. This student was immediately ejected from the exam site and has been barred from taking the university's entrance exams for the next three years.
