Seoul: Prime Minister Kim Min-seok announced Wednesday the establishment of two emergency economic teams at Cheong Wa Dae and his office to manage the government's response to the Middle East crisis.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim stated during a briefing that an emergency economic situation room will be created at Cheong Wa Dae. Concurrently, an emergency economic headquarters will be set up under his office. These measures aim to address the expanding impact of the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
Kim emphasized the need for the government to enhance its preemptive response system to prepare for a prolonged crisis, including potential worst-case scenarios.
