Busan: Chinese President Xi Jinping departed for home after attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in South Korea. His visit included significant diplomatic engagements and discussions aimed at fostering international cooperation.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Xi’s motorcade left for Gimhae International Airport from Gyeongju, where the APEC summit took place. During his visit, Xi engaged in bilateral talks with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and attended a state dinner.
This marked Xi’s first visit to South Korea in 11 years, highlighting the importance of the summit. On his arrival, Xi participated in a summit with U.S. President Donald Trump in Busan. During this meeting, both leaders agreed on measures to mitigate the ongoing trade tensions between their nations.
