Seoul – The closing prices of companies listed on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) 200 on a recent trading day showed mixed results. Key companies and their closing prices included Hanwha at 25,350 won, down 300; DB HiTek at 55,800 won, down 300; CJ at 88,600 won, up 100; and COSMOCHEM at 35,950 won, down 450.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Other notable companies included POSCO Holdings, which closed at 475,000 won, up 3,000; Samsung Electronics at 72,400 won, down 400; and SAMSUNG SDI CO., LTD. at 475,000 won, up 3,500. OCI Holdings closed at 101,000 won, up 800, while GS Retail saw a slight increase of 50, closing at 25,250 won.
In the steel sector, Hyundai Steel closed at 35,350 won, down 400, and Shinsegae ended the day at 173,700 won, down 200. The food industry saw Nongshim closing at 426,000 won, up 8,000. In the beverage sector, HITEJINRO closed at 22,800 won, down 350.
The electronics sector saw mixed results, with SamsungElecMech closing at 138,200 won, up 200, while LS ELECTRIC closed at 74,700 won, down 700. Heavy industry companies like SamsungHvyInd closed at 7,890 won, down 70, and KorZinc ended at 491,500 won, down 5,500.
