Diverse Movements in KOSPI 200 Closing Prices

SEOUL – The KOSPI 200, representing the top 200 stocks traded on the Korea Exchange, displayed a mix of upward and downward movements in its closing prices on Tuesday. Various key companies across different sectors showed significant changes in their stock values.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Yonhap News Agency, Notable movements included KUMHOTIRE, which closed at 4,855, up by 45 points. SAMSUNG SDS ended the session lower, down by 600 points to 143,600. KEPCO KPS and LG HandH both experienced gains, closing at 34,200 and 334,000, up by 200 and 4,500 points, respectively. LGCHEM saw an increase of 11,500 points, closing at 465,000. Other notable changes were observed in HYUNDAIHOMESHOP, which dropped by 250 points to 42,550, and LG Energy Solution, which significantly rose by 21,500 points to 437,000.

Additional fluctuations were seen in companies like SamsungHvyInd, up by 90 points to 7,170, and HYUNDAI ROTEM, which closed higher at 25,800, up by 650 points. However, some companies like KorZinc and HDKSOE experienced downturns, closing lower by 500 and 400 points, respectively. The list also included gains for Hanmi Science, up 650 points to 35,100, and drops for companies like COWAY, down by 300 points to 51,000.
