SEOUL — Doosan Bobcat Inc. experienced a significant drop in its second-quarter net income, which fell by 48.7 percent to 157.9 billion won ($114.1 million). The company, known for its construction equipment, also saw a decrease in revenue and operating profit compared to the previous year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Doosan Bobcat posted an operating profit of 239.5 billion won for the quarter, a steep decline from 466.5 billion won a year ago. Its revenue decreased by 16.3 percent to 2.23 trillion won.
The downturn in Doosan Bobcat's financial performance comes amid challenging market conditions, impacting sales and profitability across its global operations.
