Doosan Robotics Remains in Red in Q2

Seoul: Doosan Robotics on Friday reported a second-quarter net loss of 12.8 billion won (US$8.7 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company, known for its specialization in collaborative robots, continues to face financial hurdles.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Doosan Robotics revealed in a regulatory filing that the operating loss for the April-June period stood at 14.4 billion won. This marks a slight improvement from a loss of 15.7 billion won recorded a year earlier. Despite the ongoing losses, the company experienced a significant rise in sales, which surged 290 percent to 17.7 billion won for the quarter.

The figures reflect the company's efforts to stabilize its financial standing while expanding its sales volume. Doosan Robotics remains focused on its core business of collaborative robots as it navigates the current fiscal challenges.
