DoubleU Games Reports 20.4% Decline in Q3 Net Income.

Seoul: DoubleU Games Co. on Tuesday reported its third-quarter net income of 40.9 billion won (US$29.1 million), marking a 20.4 percent decrease from the same period last year. The company's financial performance reflects a challenging quarter despite a rise in sales. According to Yonhap News Agency, DoubleU Games disclosed in a regulatory filing that it achieved an operating profit of 59.5 billion won for the quarter. This figure presents an increase from the 54.1 billion won recorded in the same period the previous year. Meanwhile, the company's sales saw a significant rise of 10.3 percent, reaching 154.1 billion won. Despite these figures, the operating profit fell short, being 7.9 percent lower than the average estimate derived from a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency. However, the estimate for the net profit was not provided.
