SEOUL - The number of employees in South Korea's manufacturing sector has declined at the fastest rate in 11 quarters.
According to a new release by Yonhap News Agency, data from Statistics Korea. A monthly average of 4.47 million people were employed from July to September, showing a decrease of 58,000 compared to the same period last year. This marks the largest year-on-year decline since the fourth quarter of 2020.
