Seoul, South Korea

GM Korea Co., the South Korean branch of General Motors, announced a more than double increase in its vehicle sales for January, compared to the same month last year. The company credited this significant growth to robust demand in both domestic and international markets.

According to Yonhap News Agency, GM Korea sold 43,194 vehicles in January, marking a 165.8% rise from the previous year. Domestic sales soared by 183.4% to 2,894 units, while exports jumped by 164.6% to 40,300 units.
