Baku:Actors Han Ji-min and Koo Kyo-hwan have been cast as a married couple on the brink of divorce in the upcoming disaster comedy film, "The Typhoon."
According to Yonhap News Agency, the film follows the couple, Jae-yi and Jin-mo, as they face a mega typhoon during a trip to attend a relative's wedding. Jae-yi, played by Han, is a stay-at-home mom with aspirations of becoming a YouTuber and a talented former publishing house employee. Jin-mo, portrayed by Koo, is a graduate of a prestigious university now working as an average office employee.
The cast also features Oh Jung-se, Han Sun-hwa, and Kim Eung-soo. Directed by Lee Jeong-ho, known for "Broken" (2014) and "The Beast" (2019), filming for "The Typhoon" began earlier this month, with a release scheduled for next year.
