Seoul: HD Hyundai Marine Solution Co., the ship repair division of South Korea’s leading shipbuilding conglomerate HD Hyundai, announced a substantial increase in its third-quarter net profit, achieving 79.8 billion won (approximately US$56 million), marking a 36.4 percent rise compared to the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company detailed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the quarter reached 93.6 billion won, up from 83.4 billion won a year prior. Furthermore, the firm’s sales experienced an 11.3 percent growth, climbing to 513.2 billion won.
