Heavy Rain Expected in Several South Korean Cities Amid Cloudy and Sunny Conditions

Seoul: The weather forecast for Thursday indicates varying weather conditions across South Korea's 12 major cities. Temperatures are expected to range from highs of 29 to 33 degrees Celsius and lows of 22 to 27 degrees Celsius.

According to Yonhap News Agency, cities such as Cheongju, Daejeon, and Gwangju are anticipated to experience heavy rain, with a significant possibility of precipitation. Cheongju and Gwangju both have a 60% chance of rain, while Daejeon faces a 70% likelihood of heavy showers. The forecast suggests that residents in these areas should prepare for potential disruptions due to the weather.

In contrast, cities like Seoul, Incheon, and Chuncheon are predicted to have cloudy skies, with only a 10% chance of rain. Meanwhile, Suwon also expects cloudy conditions but with a slightly higher probability of rain at 20%.

Sunny conditions are forecasted for Gangneung, Jeonju, Jeju, Daegu, and Busan, though these cities come with a 30% to 60% chance of rain. The temperatures in these sunny locations are expected to be on the higher end of the spectrum, contributing to the warm climate across the region.
