SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — Hyosung Corp. disclosed a dramatic rise in its second-quarter net profit, with figures reaching 15.1 billion won (US$10.9 million), up 349.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, The company's regulatory filing revealed that its operating profit for the April-June period climbed by 63.9 percent to 38.2 billion won. Revenue also increased by 13.3 percent, totaling 564.3 billion won. These gains reflect significant financial growth for the company during the quarter.
