Hyundai Motor Introduces Electric Buses to Bali’s Public Transport System

Bali:Hyundai Motor Co. has announced the delivery of 11 County electric buses to Bali, introducing the first electric public transportation service on the Indonesian resort island.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean automaker supplied the buses under an official development assistance program, after securing a bid organized by the Global Green Growth Institute in October 2025.

This recent delivery marks Hyundai's second supply of electric buses in Indonesia, following a previous delivery of 11 County electric buses to Surabaya, the country's second-largest city, in November 2024. The County Electric buses are equipped with a 128-kilowatt-hour battery, allowing for a driving range exceeding 200 kilometers on a single charge.
