SEOUL - Popular actors Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min are set to star in the new romantic comedy series "Love Next Door," announced at a press event in Seoul.
According to Yonhap News Agency, known for their work on "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," the 16-part series will explore the dynamic between two childhood friends, Choi Seung-hyo and Bae Seok-ryu, played by Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min, respectively. The series follows Seok-ryu as she returns from a professional setback in the United States and rekindles her relationship with Seung-hyo, now a successful architect. This project marks Jung Hae-in’s first foray into romantic comedy, contrasting with his previous, more serious roles. "The series offers a lighter, humorous take on life’s challenges," Jung Hae-in commented during the event, emphasizing the natural comedy arising from everyday situations. The show is set to premiere this Saturday at 9:20 p.m., with expectations to attract a viewership exceeding 10 percent, following the recent success of other tvN series.
