KEPCO KPS Q1 Net Profit Soars by 161.9 Percent to 29.4 Billion Won

Seoul: KEPCO KPS announced that its first-quarter net profit surged to 29.4 billion won (US$19.9 million), marking an increase of 161.9 percent from the same period last year. The company released this financial update on Monday, highlighting significant growth in its earnings compared to previous figures.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the total plant solution company disclosed in a regulatory filing that it achieved an operating profit of 37 billion won for the quarter. This marks a substantial rise from the 7.8 billion won recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Additionally, KEPCO KPS reported a 22.4 percent increase in sales, reaching 352.4 billion won.
