Kia Tigers Secure Second Win Against LG Twins in KBO Postseason

Gwangju:The Kia Tigers took a commanding lead in their postseason series against the LG Twins, winning 6-3 on Sunday. The Tigers' offense surged with five runs in the first inning, while starter Adam Oller delivered six solid innings at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the victory puts the Tigers just one win away from clinching the best-of-five series in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) postseason. The series will shift to the Twins' home ground, Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul, with Game 3 scheduled for 630 p.m. on Tuesday.

Should the Twins fail to win, the game will mark the final one at Jamsil, a 44-year-old stadium set for demolition after this season. Historically, since this round's introduction to the postseason in 1989, only the 2010 and 2013 Doosan Bears have managed to overturn a 0-2 deficit to win a series.
