NEW YORK — Kia Corp. unveiled the K4 compact sedan at the New York auto show on Thursday, announcing plans to introduce the vehicle to North American markets later this year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the K4, featuring two engine options, will be assembled in Mexico and made available to customers in the United States and Canada in the second half of the year. The unveiling is part of Kia's broader strategy to expand its portfolio in North America, showcasing several models including all-electric cars EV6 and EV9, and the Telluride SUV, during the motor show running from March 29 through April 7. The K4 compact sedan, however, will not be marketed in Korea.
