Kasugai:Kim Joo-hyung, a four-time PGA Tour winner, has taken a one-stroke lead into the final round of the Asian Games men's golf tournament in Japan. According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim delivered a five-under-par 65 in the third round at Kasugai Country Club East Course. His performance included five birdies, one eagle, and two bogeys. With a total score of 12-under 198, Kim is ahead of Wang Wei-Hsuan from Chinese Taipei and Japan's Kazuki Higa by one stroke. Another South Korean golfer, Mun Do-yeob of LIV Golf, is tied for eighth place at eight-under after shooting a 69. Meanwhile, Kim Seong-hyeon, also from South Korea, is tied for 14th at two-under, following his round of 69. In the team standings, South Korea is leading with a score of 20-under, closely followed by Japan at 19-under, and China and Chinese Taipei at 18-under each. Kim Joo-hyung and Kim Seong-hyeon have a chance to receive military service exemptions with either a team gold or an individual gold, allowing them to continue their golfi ng careers uninterrupted. Mun Do-yeob has already completed his military service. After arriving from the United States, where he participated in the Presidents Cup, Kim Joo-hyung played through jet lag. Despite the challenges, he opened the tournament with a 67 on Wednesday and improved his score with a 66 in the second round and a 65 in the third.
