Pyongyang:Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, issued a warning on Thursday regarding "new counter means" at the border with South Korea.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim Yo-jong stated that these new measures would be prepared for duty along the entire southern border line, with propaganda loudspeakers against South Korea on standby within days. Her statement was released through the North's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
Kim Yo-jong's remarks followed a previous warning that Pyongyang would resume propaganda loudspeaker broadcasts directed at South Korea later this month. Furthermore, she defended North Korea's initiatives to bolster its border defenses, emphasizing that these projects would continue as planned to lower the risk of military conflict and address complex issues between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Republic of Korea (ROK).
