KITA Inaugurates New Office in Dallas to Support Korean Businesses in the U.S.

SEOUL — The Korea International Trade Association (KITA), a prominent South Korean trade organization, announced the opening of its new office in Dallas, Texas. The office was inaugurated on Monday with about 50 attendees, including Texas political and business leaders as well as South Korean dignitaries.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the new Dallas office is strategically positioned to support Korean businesses across the south central and western United States, encompassing areas such as Texas, Georgia, and California. The association aims to invigorate Korean companies’ exports by offering local market insights and facilitating business development programs. Yoon Jin-sik, chairman of KITA, emphasized at the opening ceremony, “This office will be crucial in aiding Korean companies’ expansion into Texas and enhancing partnerships with local entities.”
