SEOUL—The Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA) announced plans to invest 380.8 billion won ($274.8 million) over the next seven years to develop three industrial parks aimed at bolstering the country's space industry capabilities.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the funds will facilitate the construction of an industrial complex specifically for space vehicles. The remaining two parks will focus on the development of civilian satellites and the training of professionals in the space industry. This initiative is part of South Korea's broader strategy to enhance its capabilities in space exploration, with ambitious goals to land domestically developed spacecraft on the moon by 2032 and Mars by 2045.
