Seoul - Korean Air Co. announced plans to build a new operation center for its employees near Incheon International Airport. The nation's largest air carrier signed an agreement with Incheon International Airport Corp. to construct the T2 IOC, a 26,011-square-meter facility, adjacent to the airport's second terminal. Slated to open in the first half of 2026, the five-story building with two underground levels aims to consolidate the company's currently dispersed office spaces.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the new center will feature dedicated workspaces for cabin and operational crew members, as well as briefing, training, and meeting rooms. In line with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) guidelines, the facility will be equipped with solar panels and geothermal power systems, emphasizing the use of renewable energy sources.
