KORIBOR Rates Show Marginal Increases for Select Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) were reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information branch of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m., indicating slight changes in borrowing costs for certain terms.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR rates for the 2-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month terms showed marginal increases compared to the previous session. The 2-month rate rose to 2.85% from 2.84%, while the 3-month rate increased to 3.01% from 3.00%. The 6-month term saw a rise to 3.23% from 3.21%, and the 12-month rate inched up to 3.65% from 3.64%.

The 1-week and 1-month KORIBOR rates remained unchanged at 2.50% and 2.68%, respectively. These rates are vital indicators for the financial markets and are closely monitored by financial institutions and investors for any shifts in the economic landscape.
