KORIBOR Rates Show Slight Increase in Longer Terms


Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) experienced minor fluctuations in the longer-term rates as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. The rates for the short-term offerings, including the one-week and one-month terms, remained stable.



According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR rates for the three-month, six-month, and twelve-month terms showed slight increases. The three-month rate moved from 2.55% in the previous session to 2.57%, while the six-month rate increased from 2.61% to 2.63%. The twelve-month rate also edged up from 2.63% to 2.64%.



The one-week and one-month rates held steady at 2.50% and 2.52%, respectively. The two-month rate also remained unchanged at 2.53%. These figures reflect the current interbank lending rates for Korean won-denominated loans amongst major banks in South Korea.
