KORIBOR Rates Show Slight Increase in Longer Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) for various terms were released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. The data reveals stability in the short-term rates, while there is a slight increase in the longer-term rates.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR remained steady at 2.50%, showing no change from the previous session. Similarly, the 1-month rate saw a marginal increase, moving from 2.60% to 2.61%. The 2-month KORIBOR held firm at 2.71%.

The 3-month KORIBOR experienced a minor rise, increasing from 2.82% to 2.83%. There was also an uptick in the 6-month rate, which climbed from 2.88% to 2.90%. The most significant change was observed in the 12-month KORIBOR, which rose from 3.10% to 3.14%.

These figures reflect the current lending rates between banks in South Korea and provide insights into the country's financial market conditions.
