Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) showed a slight increase in the longer-term rates as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today. The rates for the shorter terms, such as the 1-week and 1-month, remained stable at 2.50% and 2.66%, respectively, maintaining the same levels as the previous session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 2-month KORIBOR increased marginally to 2.81%, up from 2.80%. Similarly, the 3-month rate rose to 2.96% from the previous session's 2.95%. The 6-month rate also saw a slight increase, moving from 3.15% to 3.16%.
The 12-month KORIBOR experienced a small uptick, increasing to 3.56% from the previous session's rate of 3.54%. These changes in the longer-term rates could reflect various economic factors affecting the lending markets in South Korea.
