KORIBOR Rates Show Slight Increases in Longer Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) saw minor increases in several of its longer-term rates today, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information service of Yonhap News Agency. The rates were posted at 11:00 a.m., reflecting changes in the borrowing costs among South Korea's banks.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week rate remained unchanged at 2.50%, while the 1-month rate experienced a slight increase from 2.66% to 2.67%. The 2-month rate also rose by 0.01%, moving from 2.81% to 2.82%. Similarly, the 3-month rate increased to 2.97% from the previous session's 2.96%.

The 6-month rate saw a slight rise from 3.16% to 3.18%. The 12-month rate had a more noticeable increase, climbing from 3.56% to 3.59%. These changes reflect the evolving dynamics in the interbank lending market as banks adjust to current economic conditions.
